Tips for improving your Dance Life!

You've got 'Dance Game!'

Tips for improving your Dance Life!

1. Eat Well - In addition to regular dance lessons and dancing training, we recommend that you also ensure that you're eating enough protein and lean meat . Cut down on the sugars and high glycemic foods.

2. Don't Skimp on Meals! - Dancers require good nutrition and constant energy. Keep your metabolism running! Develop balanced eating habits that will help improve your dancing life and overall health. Don't starve yourself. Your body needs fuel to run.

3. Stay Hydrated - Along with water, try implementing electrolytes and potassium into your regime. And when you are at the dance studio, it is very important that you drink plenty of water regularly while you are dancing or taking dance lessons on the dance studio.

4. Get Great Sleep! - Latin and ballroom dancing required a huge amount if energy. When you are dancing, your body needs to recharge, heal and replenish itself. You will also look and feel fresh, ready for a new day!

5. Change it up - Introduce new types of exercises to your dance training routine. In addition to dancing all the different types of ballroom and Latin dances. That is - salsa, tango, swing, mambo etc, we recommend cross training for dancing with Yoga and Pilates is a great way to improve, overall strength & flexibility, correct injuries and alignment issues.

6. Don't hide under bulky dance clothes - It's impossible for you and your dancing instructors to see what's going on beneath them. Wear dance clothing which will help you and your dancing teachers correct and improve your lines, posture, position, and technique.

7. Know what you're good at in dancing, make it even BETTER! And remember: you're only as good as your last dance practice!
